The Philips Innovation Campus (PIC) in Singapore continued success in designing and developing state-of-the-art products was recognized when it won five internationally-acclaimed innovation accolades at the recent Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2003 awards in Las Vegas.

Overall, Philips walked away with 19 awards, the most for any brand represented at CES 2003. Five of these were for products in the Video and Audio categories that were designed and developed at the PIC.
|

|
The award winners include the DVD760 which is the first player in the market to feature a Media Slot that is compatible with most memory card formats. The LX9000R is the first home theatre system that provides a full home theatre solution featuring DVD recording. The new system also has the innovative i.LINK Digital Video connection allowing users to connect their camcorders to make perfect copies from tape to a DVD+RW or DVD+R.

A compelling imaging solution, the DVD760 is the first player in the market to feature a Media Slot that is nearly 100 percent compatible with all memory card formats. Exploring new dimensions in photo interactivity, the DVD760 features Picture CD playback and a Media Slot for versatile memory card applications.

Additionally, the player features a Digital Music Manager, which provides enhanced playlist management for extensive MP3 music collections.

Utilizing 3:2 pull-down progressive scan technology, the DVD760 provides crystal clear images. The player also features component video outputs and digital audio outputs ensuring the highest quality audio and video connectivity.

The new Philips DVD963SA offers video and audiophiles the latest in technology by featuring high quality progressive scan DVD-Video and high resolution Super Audio CD. In addition, the player breaks new ground by featuring a 192khz audio upsampling capability that provides four times the resolution from standard CDs.
