Strengthening our tripartite arm - The InnoHub Ecosystem

InnoHub is an open innovation eco-system – we collaborate with our onsite and offsite partners to transform ideas into tangible solutions. To strengthen our capabilities to drive meaningful innovations, InnoHub has a range of facilities supporting our partners and customers.

Simulators

The home, retail and healthcare simulators are physical environments building on exacting realism to serve a multitude of needs. As a test bed for new products and concepts, development teams can demonstrate and test these products in an actual application environment; this frequently uncovers unknown and often surprising outcomes. Ideation workshops are also conducted in our Simulators. Interacting with participants in such an environment boosts the brainstorming process and allows concepts to be more effectively evaluated.

Consumer Experience Center

The Consumer Experience Center allows us to do in-house testing of new concepts with real consumers to derive a deeper insight of their needs and expectations. Additionally, out-of-box testing also provides valuable feedback of existing products that eventually serves to become input for future product enhancements.

Usability Lab

The Usability Lab allows our consultants, as well as personnel from the development and quality divisions, a physical space to conduct usability tests with products from other Philips business groups, as well as with competing brands products. Interoperability of devices and media management are key features which are evaluated in this facility.

Workshop Areas

Tucked away strategically, we have catered specific areas where we can conduct a spectrum of workshops for 5 to 50 people. The integrated flexibility of our workspace also allows various breakout groups to have their own corners for discussions.

Open Office

The Open Office concept has been conceptualized to allow synergistic efforts from cross-functional teams to thrive. By allowing people to move beyond the traditional confines of their own office space and to work in close proximity, this concept has been an indispensable tool for innovation to flourish.
