My Philips SmartPro Compact Robot does not clean properly

    Published on 2021-07-04

If your Philips SmartPro Compact Robot does not clean properly, there might be several reasons. Discover the possible causes and solutions for this in the following lines.

If the bristles of one or both side brushes are cooked or bent, soak the brush or brushes in warm water for a while. If this does not turn the bristles into their proper shape, replace the side brushes.

If the filter in the dust container is dirty, take the dust container out. You can empty the dust container out using a trash bag. Following this, clean the filter with a cloth or a toothbrush with soft bristles. If brushing does not help to clean the filter, replace the filter with a new one. We advise you to replace the filter at least once a year.

The suction opening of your Philips SmartPro Robot is located at the bottom of the dust container. If the suction opening is clogged, clean it with a toothbrush with soft bristles
