Rated 1 out of 5 by Angrybird My first attempt was successful but subsequently all flopped. I thought it was my measurement issue only until I read others reviews.
My second and third were unsuccessful. I thought it was my measurement fault but NO. The bread turned out rubbery and hard. Waste my money.

We like the many features to make different breads, the choice of size and crust, the timer, all very convenient. Makes really nice breads, esp the european kind, although it also depends on the flour, yeast and ingredients you use. It is a little too bulky, and we wish it could have a separate compartment for nuts and dried fruits so that we don't have to wait for the BEEPs. It makes really nice cakes too! ;)

As a European I like bread with a hard crust. See an improved recepiie, different than what is available in the folder delivered with the system. No suprise the quality of the bread is related to the quality of the ingredients. For a bread of 750 gr:
280 ml water, 1 spoon olive oil, 1 tea spoon salt, 1.5 spoon sugar,in bread basket. Than in a separate pot 280 gr of white flour high protein, 275 gr wholemeal flour and 30 gr small seeds, mix and put in breadbasket. On top of flour 1.5 tea spoon dry yeast. (The yeast is most critical. Not too much, not too little). I like crusts, so put it on dark and program 1 (white). 4.10 hours. Yammy

Followed the recipe, or other super soft bread recipes but the bread quality is not good or soft at all. Lots of gluten, and rough. The outside is very thick and hard. After a few hours, it becomes almost rubbery and super tough.
Very disappointed with this product.

followed the recipe but the bread skin on the 4 sides is very very thick and we got to cut and throw it away. No way to reduce the baking time? the bread is very rubbery when it cool down. like eating Chinese "Whatt kuey". I used the best bread flour from "Red Man" and also tried Prima. Both flour give same result :

I have the above bread machine. Followed the recipe, but the bread quality is not good. Even when it is just baked, the simple white loaf is not good. Lots of gluten, rough. After a few hours, it becomes almost rubbery and super tough.
