It totally dead after few months, have sent for repairs twice and it is dead again for the 3rd time.
Got a replacement unit and again dead after less than 6 months !!!!
It is totally a failure and unreliable product.

Got the Advance XL for less than a yr and I would say we've probably used for <20 times. The machine completely died off suddenly without any signal. The display panel doesn't light up, hence unable to power up. Very upsetting!

This is the second airfryer we have used and this is quite horrible to be honest.
Firstly, it emits too much smoke even when we are just pre-heating it.
Secondly, when cooking frozen food and or any other food it makes the whole place oily and smelly. Which makes it not much difference from frying it on an oil pan.

Just bought the 1.2kg Philip Airfryer 1wk ago and has not able to fry as expectation as the fryer keeps on and off since day 1 till now. Frustration and annoying when the fryer power starts to on and off with beeping sound altho step by step instructions have been followed repeating many times.
Please I really need practical guidance on this machine as I cant wait to see the results with those positive comments.

Have the Avance XL coming to 2 yrs. I have to go down to Philips consumer care every 4 to 5 months as the machine will break down ever so often. We used it at least 3 to 5 times a week and it's so inconvenient when it breaks down. It will stop working all of a sudden (no power#.
They exchanged a new one for me recently but it broke down in 4 months!!! Nothing has changed since 2 years ago when I bought it.... if this is a problem with the XL machine, they should fix it and extend the warranty for consumers.
I have the older version still #manual) and it's been coming to 4 yrs and is still working great!!
