What does sleep power for you?

What does sleep power in your life? For some people, sleep powers physical activities like biking or running. For others, sleep powers work performance and critical thinking.

Sleep is a contributing factor to everyone’s health and it transcends geographic, cultural and socioeconomic boundaries. For World Sleep Day 2015, Philips is committed to increasing the awareness of sleep as a powerful engine for all of our daily activities.

How the world sleeps

In honor of World Sleep Day, Philips executed a 10-country survey to generate new insights into how sleep impacts people’s lives, what keeps them up at night and what they are (or are not) doing to improve their sleep, around the world.

Take a glimpse at the results in “Sleep: A Global Perspective,” the first in a series of reports highlighting sleep trends and habits collected from a survey of nearly 8,000 people across 10 countries.

How are you sleeping?

The first step to better rest is investigating your risk of an underlying sleep disorder. A significant percentage of the global population is estimated to suffer from disrupted sleep, and sleep apnea is one of the most common of sleep disorders that is often undiagnosed.

If you think you might be at risk for sleep apnea, do something good for your health today by taking the sleep apnea risk assessment.

We also invite you to share the risk assessment with loved ones who you think might be suffering from sleep apnea, so they can get the help they need to sleep better.
