Philips Steam Iron (GC4870) was design with engonomics in mind. Its easy to use and flexible for most fabric. The only bad point that this iron has was its weight, but overall, the performance and usability was good for family usage.

Hi ! just bought this Iron for my spouse. Well, found that it is bit heavy but got good stream output and the wattage of 2600 is abit too high. But I like the colour and the design and I found that it is easy to use and fast. Thanks!

Better than my past irons used. Great iron, give good steam in getting out really deep creases, glides very smoothly over all fabric's. Little heavier but i get good results quickly so don't mind the extra weight.

I like the Ionic function where it not only ease my effort to iron a pair of jean or business shirt, not to mention the time saved and probably the money saved from electricity bill too. Recommended.

Good product with many functions. The only reason for not getting 5 stars is the location of the ionic deepsteam button which you can accidentally activate when you lift the iron.

Good steam;iron to use on the whole. Fulfils all standard functionalities required. However, the ionic deepsteam function can be placed more appropriately for use.
