Rated 4 out of 5 by from My first experience with air fryer Although I am still waiting for many more experiences for this. Me and my wife is beginning to love this product with thinking on what all we can achieve with this. When I opened the packaging, I almost did not think that it can help with any cooking at all because all our dishes are deep fried and I was looking to reduce oil usage. We just tried to fry falafel for our dinner and I must say I was impressed. We are vegetarians so I can't comment on frying the chicken, fish etc. But frying/sautéing the vegetables has been a great experience so far. We have also tried frying some chips (potato and rice chips) and I must say experience so far has been mixed, because we are still learning to use this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Healthy and tasty food in easy way! This is a very good kitchen appliance to have especially if you are looking for a healthy way of cooking your food in a tastier and safe way. Usually tasty and healthy food preparation doesn't come together, but with Philips' air fryer it is easy to achieve. Just marinate the meat (chicken or pork) overnight, put the marinated meat in the air fryer and set the timer, leave it and you may proceed to do other things (like bathing or cleaning the house). Lesser oil from the food but the taste is not affected. Plus it saves you time and it is safe to use. You may leave the food alone while cooking. We loved it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from PHilips Airfryer HD9216/81 I made toasted bread stuff with chilled choc fudge, fries, nudgets, wanton lasagne and even tried to airfryer cooked tuna fish. The outcome is pretty good except that for the taste to be closer to actual frying you need to apply a bit of oil which is good for people who need to eat less oil. I am also using the airfryer just for warming up food and it is really convenient and easy to use! For e.g. I just warmed up 2 pieces of shun kueh under 5 mins at 100 degrees Celsius. There were reviews on multi-cooker, if there is a chance I would like to test that out and compare it with airfryer!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Healthy and Convenient Way of Frying Personally i like this product as it is a convenient way of frying especially for working mom like me. There is not much washing and cleaning like the traditional way of frying. There is also no need for extra oil to be added. I used it to bake cake too and this fryer make excellent Portuguese egg tarts. The down side of this fryer is that the size is too small for bigger items like more stuffs. Most of all.. deep fryer with oil still taste nicer though as compared to fryer. it would be better if the design can be more sleek.. it is quite bulky for the small kitchen of mine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Healthy Lifestyle with Philips I have been using another branded Air Fryer, but I must say that I am very impressed with Philips Air Fryer. The time taken to cook is faster, and the food is well cooked all around and also on the inside. I have experimented with different types of food with the philips and everytime the result is excelent. All my family members could see the difference compared to my other Air Fryer. I highly recommend Philips Air Fryer to all those healthy lifestyle people out there. You won't be disappointed with the result of Philips. Cheers and Bon Appetite !!!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quick and simple This air fryer is definitely a no-brainer. It comes with a dial-timer. This is helpful as you don't have to worry about having a digital timer determining whether you can stop cooking or extend cooking. We used it to air-dry a pre-cooked bag of mini-drumsticks. Throw in a sweet tangy sauce and it's a hit with the kids! Even the adults could not resist having more. We also air-fried thinly sliced tapioca and had home-made lightly salted tapioca chips. Delicious and healthier than store-bought version.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fried food redefined The Air Fryer was very easy to use with ample instructions to advise on preparing different food products. It was also well built, the surface was not hot during use so it is not dangerous to kids. The best part about using the air fryer is the cleaning up process, it is way easier than conventional oil frying. Although yes, air fried food lacked of the fragrant oil fried taste and it is a little less crispy, but for the sake of cutting the calories and fats you get from oil, it is totally worth it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product for anyone who wants to start baking The product: I have seen the airfryer a lot on the shelves of leading stores around Singapore and always wanted to try it out. It was very exciting to have received the airfryer. The product looks nice and shiny. It felt a little heavy in my first impression - however, if you compare it with an oven, it is perfectly compact and acceptable About me : I am an Indian housewife who cooks most meals for my family at home. I do a lot of vegetarian cooking reading up from online cooking websites. Always wanted to try my hands at baking but never had the opportunity nor the equipment to do so. So the first thing I tried was a simple cupcake for my infant daughter. I looked up the recipe online and baked my first set of cupcakes. I must say - I was myself quite impressed by the outcome. The cupcakes were perfectly baked, and tasted so nice and looked awesome too. I didn’t expect the product to be so easy to use. Sharing a picture below for you to see for yourselves!! After the success of the cupcakes, I went on to try my own pizza recipe. All I did was.. just followed my instinct to roll the dough into a round shape, added a layer of tomato salsa, and threw in some veggies, olives with some cheese and oregano flakes. The result was simply unbelievable!! This can definitely be a great product if you want to experiment with your cooking capabilities.. Also tried another recipe.. baked pasta... of course, my own recipe.. had to boil the pasta first and then layer the pasta with veggies, cheese, chilli flakes and some seasoning... Then baked it in the airfryer.. the result was again amazing!! Last, but not the least, I am still trying to perfect the art of making french fries.. my first attempt with french fries turned to be a slightly having a baked rather than a fried effect.. I will try this again and share the experience with you all..however, the product only makes cooking more interesting for me... I would strongly recommend this product to people who are new to cooking and the seasoned cooks equally!! Especially good for households with healthy cooking in mind or kids who love eating different food or for those who love variety.. The product is easy to use without requiring much reading of instructions. Would recommend this product to anyone who loves cooking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stay healthy and Time saver I really love this airfryer. Before trying this air fryer I've been using using an oven and spend a longer time heating my food. With this air fryer I can spend lesser time heating and cooking my food. When heating up my frozen fries in oven I need to spend at least 40 mins but with an air fryer I just need 12mins. Even heating up pastries kept in the fridge is so convenient too. Just 5 mins and tada it's ready for consumption.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best appliance for a fuss-free fry! So my wife and I just got married and moved into our new apartment, excited to start our lives together! We love to cook ( and I love fried food), but came to the conclusion that deep frying anything, especially french fries, potato wedges, onion rings, and all things deep fried was going to be a big no-no in our new home as our first fry experience with hot oil was such a mess to clean up, food was too oily and did I mention the clean up after was so difficult? In came the Philips Airfryer. Now, we recently acquired another of Philip's product - the smokeless grill, and I instantly became a huge fan. To give some context, my wife isn't a huge fan of using technology of sorts to cook (and so are my parents). When I suggested getting the Philip's Airfryer, her biggest concern was that it might not cook as crisply as she would expect, and that it would be a hassle to clean up! I managed to convince her that we should try it, and after some convincing, ordered the Airfryer. The packaging in which it arrived in was simple and easy to carry - I was really excited to try it out so I quickly removed it and read the easy to read product guide and the included cooking time guide sheet. As I was reading it, I suddenly realized that in my excitement, i had forgot to defrost my chicken breasts as I was planning to make some Air fried paprika and rosemary chicken with some potato wedges. I almost thought it was not going to be possible to prepare my meal when I realized that I could actually Airfry my chicken without defrosting it! Crazy, right? I had to wait hours before for my meats to defrost, but here I was quickly preparing a hearty chicken meal with such little prep time! After marinating the chicken, it only took me 20 minutes at 200 degrees (and 3 turns of the chicken pieces) to get the most tender, juicy and freshest chicken I ever had in my kitchen! I was absolutely blown away by how tender the meat was, and how the flavors of the spice mix and rosemary was completely coated onto the chicken! And not forget my potato wedges that came out hot, crispy on the outisde and soft on the inside! The moment of truth came when my wife tasted it and could not believe how good the food tasted and she was surprised that I did not use more than one table spoon of oil for both dishes! What a healthy meal it was, and it tasted so good. And I must mention, clean up was such a breeze! I urge anyone who longs for a fuss free fry to get one ASAP! A definite must have!
