Sonicare EasyClean Sonic electric toothbrush

1 mode, 1 brush head HX6511/02

Troubleshooting

There is a gap between my Sonicare brush and handle.

Discover what it means if there is a gap on your Philips Sonicare electric toothbrush between the base of the brush head and the top of the toothbrush handle.

A small gap is necessary

A small gap is necessary because the brush head must be free to move in order to deliver the brushing action needed to clean the teeth. However, the brush head should not be loose, nor should it slip down the drive shaft during use. If this occurs, it can often be corrected simply by installing a new brush head on the handle. If the looseness persists after trying several brush heads, or the drive shaft is loose, contact Sonicare support to discuss your issue.
