My skin is reacting to the VisaCare treatment

    Published on 2017-04-14

Your skin reacting to the VisaCare treatment could be due to several reasons. Please try the following to determine the problem.

If you are experiencing dry or flaky skin, prolonged redness or swelling, you might be pressing the device too hard on your face or treating the same area too many times. Try using less pressure during your next treatment or treat the area less frequently.

    • You may experience mild redness directly after a VisaCare treatment. You may also experience a warm, tingly sensation during the treatment. These effects usually disappear within minutes and are generally experienced as pleasant.

    • In rare cases, VisaCare may cause a bruise, blister, scratch or pigmentation change. But do not worry; all skin reactions should disappear within a week. Pigmentation change will decrease within weeks or possibly months.

To avoid possible side effects, use a day cream with sun protection factor or a sun protection cream after the treatment. This helps to avoid sunburn.

VisaCare has been tested and is safe when used as described in the user manual. However, medicines, products and their possible side effects can affect individual people in different ways. There is always the possibility that a rare or previously unknown side effect occur when using VisaCare or any other product, so please contact our Customer Care team in case you experience a side effect which is not mentioned above.
