What does the Philips fryer PreClean function do?

    Published on 2021-07-04

The PreClean function allows you to soak the inner bowl with hot water for easier cleaning. Fill the inner bowl with cold water up to three quarters of its capacity, and then add some dishwashing liquid.

For the HD6103, set the temperature control to the PreClean function. The water will be heated to 80 degrees Celsius. After 20 to 30 minutes, switch the fryer off, pour the water out of the inner bowl, and then clean it with hot water and some dishwashing liquid.

For the HD6180, press the PreClean button for at least 2 seconds. The water will be heated to 80 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes to soak the inner bowl. After 30 minutes, you will hear an audible signal indicating that the heating element has been turned off. You can now lift the inner bowl out of the fryer, empty it, and then clean it with hot water and some dishwashing liquid.

The information on this page applies to the following models: HD6103/70 , HD6107/70 .
