How to manually program additional channel(s) to my Philips TV?

You need to know the channel frequency in order to use the manual installation feature. Look up the channel frequency in a newspaper or TV guide.
If you do not have the channel frequency at hand, it is recommended to use the automatic installation feature to re-install all the channels

You are able to individually add new channel(s) by following these steps:

Press the [Home] button on the remote control to access the [Home] menu
Use the cursor buttons to select [Setup] and press the [OK] button to confirm
Press the cursor [Down] to select [Installation] and press the cursor [Right] to access the installation Menu
Press the cursor [Down] to select [Channel Install] and press the cursor [Right] to access the channel installation Menu
If the channel lock is activated, the screen will prompt you to enter your pin code. If you have forgotten your pin code, refer to the FAQ ('I have forgotten my 4-digit pin code. How can I reset it?').
Press the cursor [Down] to select [Manual Install] and press the cursor [Right]
select [Color System] and press the cursor [Right]
Use the cursor [Up][Down] to select [Auto] and press the [OK] button to confirm
Press the cursor [Down] to [Sound System] and press the cursor [Right]
Use the cursor [Up][Down] to set to the correct sound system
If you are not sure of the sound system used in your location, press the cursor [Up][Down] to select [Auto] and press the [OK] button to confirm
Press the cursor [Down] to select [Search] and press the cursor [Right]
Enter the 3 digit frequency of the channel you wish to add using the numeric buttons on the remote control
Press the [OK] button once the frequency entry is completed
Press the cursor [Down] to select [Store Cur Chan] and press the cursor [Right]
Select [OK] and press the [OK] to store the frequency
If you wish to add another channel, repeat steps 7 to 16
Press the [Back] button to exit the Menu

If you do not have the channel frequency at hand, follow these steps to perform the automatic installation:: Press the [Home] button on the remote control to access the [Home] menu

Use the cursor buttons to select [Setup] and press the [OK] button to confirm

Press the cursor [Down] to select [Installation] and press the cursor [Right] to access the installation menu

Press the cursor [Down] to select [Channel Istall] and press the cursor [Right] to access the channel installation menu

Select [Channel Assistant] and press the cursor [Right] to access the automatic installation screen

Select [Start] and press the [OK] button to Start auto programming

The menu screen disappears and the progress of auto programming is displayed. The progress bar indicates the number of analogue channels found.

Once the installation is completed, press the [OK] button to confirm and exit the menu
