As intended but design can be further improved
A tad noisy but performs its job functionally. Boils in record time 1.7L worth of h20. Only gripe, the on button is made of filmsy plastic. Given its sleek full metal build internally sans outer casing, its utterly incongruent and cheapens the entire product. Care must be taken not to damage that blue stick of a sorethumb while handling.

This product is great.
I have been using Philips product for quite some time now. It is quality product. I have been using this kettle and I won't buy any others That's how good it is. The internal part of the kettle is simple no coils. Which is good. Design is nice. It's fast when reaching boiling point.

Flawed Product
After only using it for a few times, rust/burn like marks appeared at the bottom of the kettle. What on earth is this Philips?!

This product have the reheat feature
overall the product is good except the boiling is a bit noisy.

very hot to touch
design is very simple and it isvery hot to touch after use. do not cool down fast even after removing boiled water. have to be really careful. there are other better choices at the same price range.

elegant brush metal feature
This is my second unit within 8 months as the first unit's keep warm light was not working.
It is slightly noisy coming to a boil.
I would buy again for what it is a water boiler

Technical design.
Stylish product design.
As a safety precaution, I will recommend that bold texts be written on the box advising that the exterior of the kettle and charging stand are to be kept dry always. I am writing this because some of my family members actually believe that the product is so well designed to be fool proofed that even the electrical contacts may tolerate water splashes.

Keep warm - dont have to reboil
Easy to use kettle with keep warm function means that you don't have to reboil the same water for that 2nd cup of tea.
