I have this box and I find it's the best media box I have used it do's what it says you can watch 2d movies in 3d and watch 3d movies in 2d it's a must have for every movie buff to have to watch all your movie collection in 3d

The product is very good but if you want to surf the net then the lack of a trackball on the remote limits navigation severely. The up/down, left/right keys is too restrictive for most web sites. The keyboard is too cumbersome and sometimes is inaccessible in some situations.

If all you do is stream video from a USB or NAS this is the product for you. However You cannot sort the contents of a folder nor if you are interested in the SMART TV apps install iplayer. What went wrong Philips - no development on this product since 2014.

This has to be the worst Philips product I've ever used and regret having bought recently. All the claims made about its usability and interface are just not true. The wifi range is less than 10 feet and the media streaming from a network PC is unacceptably slow. The product offered in the UK is more suited to a European/American audience as the apps and smart TV functionality as no UK based stations eg BBCi Player. The look and feel of the interface is antiquated and slow and and the presentation of DNLA streamed folders is cumbersome and slow. Perhaps if file conversion took place first then things might move a lot quicker but if you like watching paint dry then you'll enjoy this media player. The supplied remote control is totally useless as it often is unresponsive and will not switch the device on and off. When viewing web pages the scrolling function on the remote cannot cope with the pages displayed. I have not bothered to try the myremote function on my android device as I got fed up with screen freezes and waiting for something to happen - I just gave up with the whole thing and stuck it back in the box. A waste of time and money.
