Gives a fast and close shave and particularly like the Jet clean system

I have been using Phillips electric shavers for over 40 years. HQ8290 is the best one yet -effortless smooth shave every time. Had to replace cutting blades after about 18 months of daily shave and the shaver is as good as new again.

Had razor for almost 6 years but after about 4 years would not charge to its full capacity and eventually got worse and worse. Also the head probably needed replacing as was missing areas on my face to shave. Would of replaced head but felt not worth it when battery not charging properly so decided to replace it. Not sure how long recharge razors and their batteries are to last so chalked it up to it had reached its life expectancy. I assumed they should last longer but have no idea.

I REPLACED MY OLD PHILLIPS SHAVER A PHILLISHAVE 6890 WHICH HELD CHARGE FOR 75 MINS, MY NEW HQ 8290 ONLY HOLDS CHARGE FOR 55 MINS SO IF I GO AWAY FOR 2 WEEKS I HAVE TO TAKE MY CHARGER. OTHER WISE I FIND IT NO DIFFERENT TO MY OLD 6890 WHICH IS A SHAME.
