Shaver series 9000 SensoTouch RQ1295/21 Wet and dry electric shaver

After years of wet shaving with a razor, I saw this unit and decided to give it a go. I wasn't disappointed. It took a while to get used to, but I'm pleased with the result I get.

During School I have Acne effected and Sensitive Skin. Unfortunately this Continued throughout my 20's. I was Told to Stay away for Auto Units, and Only Manual Shave from the Skin Doctors, as Auto Units in many Cases got to Close to the Skin, Causing Razor Burn, and or Skin Irritation. Therefore, I Spent Half of my time finding a Good Manual Shaver in the Supermarket. I Had found one that had Worked and did the Job for months but in the End i Just got Sick of Wet Shaving, let alone the Clean up. Recently I Had My birthday and i didn't have a Clue on what i Wanted to get, and i Saw the Add for this and Thought it was good Soul based on the Wet and Dry Function. Ever Since, I have Been Dry shaven and My skin has only Seen Good Days.

This is my second Philips shaver. I thought the olde Arcitec was excellent. This one is amazing! It is so quiet. It shaves closer than a blade! Wel Done!

I have tried electric razors before and found the just dont do the job. This one does it just like any razor would. Very quick and simple to use.

the cartoon drawings for instructions leave a lot to guessing the manual on the webpage gives a lot more info but harder to find this in the oversize box. the shaver works well and gives a good shave wet or dry

I have been a loyal customer of the "best" foil shavers available and was always reluctant to try any rotary system. With the cash-back offer I decided to go ahead and purchase the RQ1295CC. After several months of usage I can't see myself using anything else! I am very happy with this product, can shave on the shower or dry and it is very nice on my skin. Very efficient to cut 2-3 days long beard which basically is a big thing for me. With the foil system I always had to trim before shaving because of the "pulling effect" that hursts!!! with this one there is no planning, wake up in the morning and I know that in 5 to 7 minutes I'm done! with shorter growth it is even faster. So well done!

As a shaver, a groomer and a trimmer it performs all tasks perfectly. Where some multi use products are perfect at their main task and mediocre at their other functions, this is head and shoulders above all else and perfect in every way.
