Philips Shaver 500 SeriesWet & Dry Electric Compact Shaver

Amazing shaver. I have used this shaver for a few weeks now and I must say I’m impressed. It can be used on both wet or dry skin as effective. The battery last for at least 30 mins witch is more than enough. The size is ideal to take on when travelling. I’m very happy with my new shaver and I highly recommend this.

Very small shaver but packs a surprising punch. Great for on the go shaving, in the car or at the gym. Gives a great shave. Also has a long lasting charge so I can’t fault this at all.

It came in a very elegant box. I was surprised to see how small and light it is, almost like an antiperspirant size. It’s covered in a case, to protect it. I can take it with me anywhere. Only 2 blades, but effective for me. Gets rid of the hair, but my skin stays smooth, no irritation at all. I like that it works with foam and gel, as well as dry. It makes it very convenient when I travel. It’s very easy to clean. I like the battery indicator level, which shows me when it needs charging. The leaflet says 40 minutes life. For me it lasted 7 shaves, but it charges fast with USB cable. This is the bad part, it doesn’t come with a cable, so it’s a bit extra money for a cable. The only thing I don’t like too much is the shape. I prefer the narrow shape for a more comfortable grip and a faster shave. All in all, I recommend this shaver, particularly for travels or for busy days.

I have been putting this Philips 500 Series Compact Shaver to the test for over a week now, and I have to say it has honestly exceeded every single expectation I had. It is perfectly pocket-sized, sleek and lightweight, so it slips easily into my bag, travel case, or even a jacket pocket without taking up any space at all, yet it is powerful enough to give a really smooth, neat finish every time I use it. The SteelPrecision blades feel sharp and reliable, and the Lift & Cut technology works so well; it catches hairs that lie flat and gets right up close without ever dragging, pulling, or leaving that annoying stubbly shadow behind. I love that it feels gentle on my skin too; I haven’t had any redness, irritation, or soreness even when I’m in a rush and use it quickly. The battery life is fantastic; it holds charge for ages, charges up fast, and I never have to panic about it dying halfway through. It has become my absolute go-to whether I am travelling, or just need a quick tidy-up at home. This has made keeping on top of my routine so much easier; I genuinely don’t know how I managed without it before.

This shaver is excellent, it is nicely compact, and so is perfect for when I am travelling. It comes in ot's own case and gives a brillant shave. It causes no irritation, and I can achieve a nice close, smooth shave well. The product is good quality and very easy to handle.

It’s easy to clean after use, which makes it very convenient for everyday shaving. The compact design is another big advantage, especially when travelling, as it takes up very little space in your bag. Overall, a comfortable, convenient shaver that delivers excellent results.

1. I had a choice of either buying Braun or this model. Since I wanted a change of brand at Harvey Norman, I bought this to try it out. 2. I was not told how to unlock, I had to press the on/off switch button ( found out from Google search) ...but activation time and response could be better. 3. Shaving is better than Braun ( travel small model) and compared to older Philips model which I had used but was not impressed.

Very compact and great for travel. Gives a close-cut shave. The on-off button cold be located elsewhere as it accidently switches off if you hold the shaver with your fingers on that side.
