I have an "older" model Philips shaver and thought I'd treat myself to an updated model, the Philips 6000 series. It's a beautiful shaver, so nicely built, easy to use, extremely smooth on the skin, gives a clean no mess shave and just plain nice to have.

My old aqua touch 890 died on me today, so decided to give this one a go. Must say, this certainly does not disappoint. Works exceptionally well, no irritation, cuts / bumps, perfect for my sensitive skin type. Do yourself a favour and go for this model. Rest assured you will not regret it.

Provides a very close shave quite quickly. The battery life is superb. I’ve managed 4 weeks so far of daily shaving on its first charge. Rotary shavers like this tend to tackle long flat whiskers better than foil shavers which I like. The slower setting seems like a gimmick and you still have to exercise caution when shaving sensitive areas such as the back of the neck. All in all, a great shaver that is fit for purpose.

This is the best shave I can remember after 40 years of daily use of electric shavers. The anti-friction coaating helps the shaver glide easily over the hairs and the blades cut short and clean leaving a very smooth feel to the face and neck

I have had a beard since I was 18 as shaving made my face so sore because my whiskers grow in all directions it's like having 4 shaves to get smooth. This razor shaved me for the first time without making my face sore, well done so pleased with it as can now go beard free now
