The Philips Avent Classic baby bottle was shown to significantly reduce fussing by approximately 28 minutes a day as compared to the comparator bottle (46 min vs 74 min, p=0.05) This was especially true during the night-time.*

It was great, but faced 2 problems recently

My kids have been using Avent bottles for past 7 years. It was good, until recently, i bought 2 replacement bottles and the caps couldn't tighten well. Using older caps was worse, couldn't fit the cap in. Good that Philips allowed for exchange. But after exchanging, the 2 exchanged bottles turned white after a few mouths of use. Philips explained that it was likely due to contact with alcohol and advised us to bring in for exchange. The kids use their bottles for Gain IQ milk and Milo, and we wash with Pureen cleanser, and our older Avent bottles and some Pigeon bottles didn't turn white. Philips didn't provide further explanation. Will it happen again after i changed bottles?
