Bought mainly for Internet radio and podcast listening. Good price as compared to other similar units in the market. Compact size with good sound output.

Because unexpectedly such a small micro sound system having wifi and bluetooth streaming capabilities.

Received the product on schedule and its sound quality is amazing. Enjoy listening to music during night sleep. The internet connectivity is fine to capture online radio stations quickly and able to store them in memory for next time playing.

Ich bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit dem Philips TAM6805/10. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super und ich konnte bislang keine größeren Probleme feststellen. Allerdings gibt es ein kleines Manko, das ich erwähnen möchte: Beim Gerät ist ein konstantes Rauschen bzw. Hissen zu hören, besonders bei leiseren Passagen. Es handelt sich hierbei um ein Grundrauschen (White Noise) des Verstärkers, das bei Geräten dieser Preisklasse häufig vorkommt und keine Fehlfunktion darstellt. Abgesehen von diesem kleinen Problem bin ich aber sehr zufrieden mit dem Philips TAM6805/10. Die Tonqualität ist insgesamt sehr gut und das Gerät ist einfach zu bedienen. Besonders praktisch finde ich die Möglichkeit, Telefonate über das Gerät zu führen und die integrierte Freisprechfunktion. Auch das Design des Geräts gefällt mir gut und es fügt sich gut in mein Wohnzimmer ein. Insgesamt kann ich den Philips TAM6805/10 auf jeden Fall empfehlen, insbesondere für den Preis.

Internet radio was excellent. Great features and sound for the price. I was pleasantly surprised

Was looking for a device to play radio whilst watch tv and this is excellent. A bit fiddly with setting up the preset channels but only really listen to Smooth and it is perfect. Bought 2 other devices but had to return them as they did not stream internet radio. Shouldn't have tried to cut corners and bought what I knew would work from the start. Best purchase in a while!!

After reviewing the various Mini Music Systems and the Which (consumer association) review We selected this Music System.It was easy to get initially installed and find DAB+ stations straight away. Only disappointment was not getting Boom ( one of our reasons to buy!). Not sure if it needs an additional ariel? Can get on Internet though with no problem. Using the Internet at first was not that easy. Had to get grandsons help. Of coarse he did it in a matter on seconds( as he is used to smart devices it seems he has the intuitive knowledge it takes). Really impressed with all the stations I can access around the globe- just fantastic! Only problem I would highlight is no manual available except via the web and then its 22 pages to print! Quick start large page was not simple to use as no words or instructions. This seems to be a norm with these so called 'smart' devices. Seems to assume some kind of 'smart' user. Also the great pack of irrelevant multi languages is a complete waste.Not customer for environment friendly. Difficult to store for future reference . All done to make it easier for supplier to sell worldwide. Overall though I am very pleased with the purchase and I'm still learning some of the features. Just one last thing is it would be good to get access to previous broadcasts like I do on my mobile phone like BBC Sounds App ( can play previous days programmes). Can play them via bluetooth from my phone. Maybe a similar Google Chrome Sounds feature might help?

Before, I had a similar product from a Swedish brand. I cost more than twice as much, and was far less easy to use. The compact system has an excellent price to quality ratio. I can recommend this.

Within 10 minutes of unpacking everything was set up (DAB/Internet radio/FM/Bluetooth). Great sound and build quality. I didn't want a metal aerial so more than happy with the wire and connectivity. Overall I am extremely pleased with this unit and it's probably one of the best for under £200. Highly recommended. I'm in my late 60's now so this is likely to be my last purchase of a music system and I'm glad to say that yet again, Philips haven't disappointed.

A Quality Purchase in Sound and Build, I spent a week researching Several products, I read all the likes and dislikes which have been reviewed on this and several products. I them purchased the M6805/10. I found it easy to setup and after a little time working on presets all is now good. I had read that the bass on the unit was not that good, well the item I have provides a great bass sound. The build of the machine is excellent and I am really pleased that this was the choice I made.
