My portable hard disk not recognized by Philips player

The USB Direct port supports the following USB Portable Hard Disks specifications:

1. Maximum of 4GB capacity.
2. FAT/FAT32 file formats.

Note:
Any other portable hard disks not within the specifications listed above might not be recognised by the player.
