    I have forgotten my Philips TV 4-digit pin code. How to reset it?

    Follow the instructions below to reset the 4-digit pin code if you cannot remember it.

    1) Press the [Menu] button on the remote control to access the home menu
    2) Use the cursor buttons [Up][Down][Left][Right] to select [Setup] and press the [OK] button to confirm
    3) Select [Channel settings] and press the [OK] button

    4) Press the cursor [Down] to select CHILD LOCK and press the [OK] button
    5) Press the cursor [Down] to select CHANGE CODE and press the [OK] button
    6) When the prompt [Current code] appears on the screen, enter the universal code ‘8888'
    7) Then enter an easily remembered new 4-digit pin code and enter the new code a second time for confirmation
    8) Press the [Back] button to exit the menu

    If you have not set your personal 4-digit pin code when you first turned on the TV, you need to do this before you can use the Child lock feature.

    1) Press the [Menu] button on the remote control to access the home menu
    2) Use the cursor buttons [Up][Down][Left][Right] to select [Setup] and press the [OK] button to confirm
    3) Select [Channel settings] and press the [OK] button . (see image below)
    4) Press the cursor [Down] to select [Chidl lock]and press the [OK] button
    5) Press the cursor [Down] to select [Set code] and press the [OK] button
    6) When the prompt [New pin] appears on the screen, enter an easily remembered new 4-digit pin code and enter the new code a second time for confirmation
    7) Press the [Back] button to exit the menu
