This happens only when some apps are opened with portrait orientation. Follow the steps below to correct this problem:

1. Disconnect the device from power supply.
2. Re-connect the device to power supply.
3. Go to “Settings” from the Home screen.
4. Select “Display”.
5. Uncheck the option “Application request to change orientation”.
