A new 1.5V set of batteries provides 1-3 hours of operating time for your Philips Avent single electric breast pump. Rechargeable 1.2V batteries will lose capacity over time and may cause a decrease in operating time.
If you have inserted batteries in the battery housing of the motor unit and plug in the adapter, the breast pump will run from the main power supply. The batteries cannot be charged in the unit.
