What are the modes of my Philips Avent baby monitor

    Published on 11 January 2024

The Philips Avent Video baby monitor has four different modes; audio, video, vox, and eco. Find out how these modes differ from each other.

    Audio mode

When the audio mode is activated, the display of the parent unit switches off. You will still be able to hear your baby from the parent unit of your Philips Avent Video baby monitor

    Video mode

When the video mode is activated, both video and audio are always on so you can hear and see your baby from the parent unit of your Philips Avent Video baby monitor

    Vox mode

When the vox mode is activated, the display and sound of the parent unit will turn off after 20 seconds if no sound is detected. When sound is picked up by the baby unit, the display and sound of the
    parent unit switches on immediately.

Note: You can change the sound detection level by pressing the sensitivity button.

    Eco mode

With eco mode activated, the parent unit will turn off after 20 seconds if no sound is detected. When sound is picked up by the baby unit, the parent unit will immediately switch on. The eco light turns green to indicate that eco mode is activated.

    Save battery life
During eco mode, the display and sound transmissions are completely turned off to save battery life.

Note: You can change the sound detection level by pressing the sensitivity button.

    Change modes

You can change modes by pressing the mode button while the Philips Avent Video baby monitor is turned on. The display shows the selected mode.
