When the descale indicator lights up, it's time to descale. For safe and efficient operation of your product, it is important to descale regularly.
1. Remove the filter and the inner water tank.
2. Fill the water tank to the maximal water level, with 1:20 citric acid solution (1g of citric acid per 20ml water).
3. Place a 2L container under the dispense nozzle.
4. Long press the descale button for 3 seconds.
5. The descale indicator will flash and the appliance will run
a descale process. It will need around 5 mins. Caution: dispensed
solution will be hot.
6. When the water shortage indicator lights up, discard the remaining citric acid solution, refill with fresh tap water to the maximal water level.
7. The appliance will run a cleaning cycle.
8. The descale indicator will turn off once the descaling completes.
