    My Philips Fan makes an unusual noise when oscillating

    If your Philips Fan makes an unusual noise during oscillation, find the possible causes and solutions here. Please note that all images are general representatives. There could be differences among different models.

    Foreign objects may be stuck on the appliance

    Please check if any foreign objects are stuck on the appliance and remove them.

    The fan blade is not properly installed

    The information below does not apply to models CX5535, CX2050 , CX3050, CX5550 and CX7550. Follow the instructions below based on your Philips fan type (pedestal or wall fan).

    • Pedestal fan
      Turn the appliance off and unplug it from the wall socket. Check if the spinner, fan blade, and plastic nut are securely fastened (indicated in images 5, 6, and 7). The image is for generic representative, please refer to the UM specific to your models for the steps.

    If the noise continues, please turn off the appliance and contact us for further assistance.

     

    • Wall fan CX1050
      Turn off the appliance and unplug it from the wall socket. Please contact a local professional technician to inspect the fan installation as described in the User Manual specific to the model.
