The SMART USB Record feature is available since June 2011. From that date on, you can log on to www.philips.com/support with your model number and download the TV software to your USB memory stick. Follow the instructions in the user manual or readme file of the firmware upgrade on how to upgrade your software.

If your TV is connected to your home network that is connected to the Internet, you can update your TV software directly from the Internet. Press the [Home] button > [Setup] > [Update software] and press the [OK] button. Select [Internet] and press the [OK] button. Follow the instructions onscreen to complete the software update.

To view the updated on-screen user manual, download and install the latest User Manual Upgrade software from the ‘User manuals' section of the Philips support page. Follow the instructions in the Release Notes of the User Manual Upgrade on how to update the TV on-screen user manual.
