The Philips Home Safety 1000-series, 3000-series, and 5000-series cameras, are designed specifically for monitoring indoor spaces and should only be used in fully enclosed, dry environments. Installing these cameras in semi-outdoor areas, such as under a porch or near an open entrance, exposes them to moisture, dust, wind, and temperature fluctuations. This exposure can cause damage and void the warranty. These cameras operate within a humidity limit of 85% and a temperature range of -10 to +45°C.
