Why is no or less water coming out of my Philips OneUp electric mop?

    Published on 21 October 2025

Philips OneUp 5000 Series Electric Mop quick fixes

    Clean Water Tank Is Empty
Refill the clean water tank (image 1).

Clean Water Tank Is Not Properly Connected
Ensure the clean water tank is securely connected to the appliance (image 2).

    Pad Is Too Dry
When you use a dry pad, it will take some time for the water to be released on the floor. For optimal results, wet the pad with the fabric side up under the tap before use and make sure it is evenly wet (image 3). Do not wring it out.

    Pad Not Properly Attached
Press the nozzle firmly onto the pad’s plastic connection points to secure it (image 4).

    Wrong Wetness Setting
Use Wetness Setting 2 (two LEDs lit) for more water output (image 5). The appliance always starts at Setting 1 by default.

    Clogged Pad
Wash the pad in the washing machine (up to 40°C) following the care label instructions. If the problem persists, replace the pad with a new one (models XV1882 or XV1883).
