The overheat protection system triggered (Thermo cut off)

    Information below does not apply for models: RI7630/90, RI7636/01, RI7636/00, RI7632/91, RI7632/90, RI7630/91, HR7630/90, HR7632/90, RI7300/90, RI7300/91, RI7301/90, RI7301/91, RI7301/00, RI7301/01, RI7302/90, RI7302/91, RI7302/40, RI7302/41, HR7301/90, HR7301/91, HR7302/90, HR7302/91, RI7632/33, RI7632/50, RI7632/51.

Your Philips Food processor’s overheat protection system (Thermo cut off) has been activated. This protects your appliance from overheating and may occur during processing ingredients that are too thick, or if the appliance is not used according to the instructions in the user manual.

    To solve this:
    1. Switch the appliance off and pull the mains plug out of the socket.
    2. Remove part of the ingredients to reduce weight.
    3. Let it cool down for 20 minutes or until it reaches room temperature.

Plug your appliance into the power outlet and switch it on again.

Note: You may notice a certain odor, do not worry though, you can use your Philips Food processor normally.

Did the solutions above help solve the issue? If not, please contact us for further assistance.
