The preparation needed for software upgrade depends on the upgrade method you choose:
If you upgrade the software of the player via network, make sure:
- The internet connection to your player is properly set up
- There is no disc inside the player. Eject any disc before you perform any software upgrade.
If you upgrade the software via USB:
- Read carefully the readme file which is available in the product support site providing the firmware
- Follow the instructions in the readme file to download the firmware into a USB flash drive
- Make sure there is no disc inside the player. Eject any disc before you perform any software upgrade.
- Follow the instructions in the readme file for the firmware upgrade procedures
