There is too much food in the beaker. Switch off the appliance and process a smaller quantity.

You let the appliance operate too long without interruption. Do not operate the blender for more than 1 minute at a time. Do not operate the wet mill for more than 30 seconds at a time.

My Philips Avent blender does not work: The appliance is equipped with a safety lock. If the blender beaker or wet mill beaker has not been assembled properly onto the motor unit, the appliance does not work. Press the on/off button to make sure the appliance is switched off. Then check whether the beaker has been assembled properly.
