Effective electronic toothbrush that is a perfect traveling companion
I have been using another well known brand electric rechargeable toothbrush for 3years and decided to make the switch to Philips sonic care. My main reason for the switch was because of my business traveling and that so call "well known brand" can be a pain when traveling with it. If I do not wish to bring along the charger which is to me rather bulky, I will need to ensure I have enough battery life to last for my two weeks trip. Since its rather bulky I tend not to bring it. And often am left with a sub par performance toothbrush towards the end of my traveling.
I must say I am very impressed how Philips integrate charging to the DiamondClean travel case. Even more impressive is that it charges the toothbrush via USB which means I only need to carry the USB cable. Super plus point!! And charging at home is also an ease. Simply place the toothbrush in the cup that connects to a power source.
How diamondClean works is significantly different from the other brand I have used, in a good way. I can feel the immediate effect. I particularly like how diamondClean uses strong vibration method as compared to rotational brushing method. DiamondClean also have a slicker body hence it feels nice handling it. The brush head also have a slimmer profile which makes harder to reach areas more accessible.
Overall I am very happy with DiamondClean and looking forward to traveling with it on all my business trips.

Excellent Plague Removal
I always have plague problems, but after using sonicare, it felt like I just visited a dentist.

Selection button not available
I have been using the Flexcare+ and just recently bought the DiamondClean. There's only one complain but it is enough to make me considering buying another FlexCare+. There is only one multi-function button on the DiamondCare so if I want to use another mode, I need to press the button a few times while the toothbrush is in action. It causes the toothpaste to fall off the brush. If I were to do it with the toothbrush in my mouth, I can't see what mode I'm selecting. This is a real design flaw. Performance wise excellent.
I definitely will recommend Philips Sonicare but not the DiamondCare range. I wonder if I could send in for exchange....

A good toothbrush but it doesn't last
I find the toothbrush is excellent in terms of performance and design, loyal customer... however i find it break down too easily. I'm about to use my 5th sonicare ( last 2 was diamondclean ) within 5 year period. Kinda expensive to change so often. I think that's the only downside.
