    How to receive push notifications for my Philips Doorbell and Wireless Spotlight Cameras

    If you would like to enable push notifications for your Philips Doorbell and/or Wireless Spotlight Cameras and receive them on your mobile device, please follow the steps below.
     

    Android - Huawei

    1. Enter the phone settings page and click on “Notifications” then “More notification” settings and turn on all the switches.
    2. Return to the “Notifications” page and find the Philips Home Safety app and again turn on all the switches.
    3. Return to the settings page and tap “Apps” then “App launch”, find the Philips Home Safety app and turn on the switch.
    4. Return to the settings page, tap the “Battery” option, and make sure "Power saving mode" and "Ultra Power Saving mode" are off, as these options can block notification messages.

    Android – Samsung

    1. Always on display: Open the phone settings and navigate to "Display" settings and enable "Always On Display", and select “Show Always”.
    2. All notifications on: Return to the main "Settings" go to “Notifications” page and find "App notifications." Select the desired app “Philips Home Safety”, then select “Allow notifications" and enable notifications.
    3. Full screen alerts: Return to the "Settings" page and find "Apps" select “Special Access” and select “Full screen alerts”, enable for “Philips Home Safety”.
    4. Lock screen settings: In "Settings," click on "Lock screen notifications" and put it “On”. Also enable “Show content when unlocked” and “Show on Always On Display”. 

    Android – OPPO

    1. Open phone settings and go to "Notification & Status Bar."
    • Enable "Wake Screen When Notifications Received on Lock Screen. 
    • Enter "Manage Notifications" and locate the desired app. 
    • Enable "Allow Notifications" and configure "System preset channel options." 
    1. Return to the phone settings page and click on "Battery." 
    • Disable "Power saving mode" and "High performance mode" (These options can block notification messages). 
    • Navigate to "App battery management" and find the desired app. 
    Enable all notification switches for the app. 

    Android – Xiaomi

    1. Open phone settings and navigate to "Apps". Go to “Permissions” and within “Permissions” select “Philips Home Safety”. Allow “Show on Lock screen” and enable it. And for “Display pop-up windows...” also enable. 
    • Show on lock screen: Allowed 
    1. Return to the settings page, select "Lock screen," then enable "Wake Lock screen for notifications". 
    • Find the desired app and toggle on the switch. 
    1. Go back to the "Notifications" page and tap on "Floating Notifications". 
    • Locate the app and enable the switch. 
    1. Return to the settings page and choose "Battery & Performance." 
    • Disable the "Battery saver" and "Ultra battery saver" options. (Enabling these options may block many notification messages.) Select “Balanced”. 
    1. Return to the settings page, select "Notifications & Control centre", go to “Lock Screen” "App notifications" and allow Philips Home Safety.  
    • Find the app and enable the switch.
    1. Return to the settings page, select "Notifications & Control centre", tap “Floating notifications”, then “App notifications” and allow Philips Home Safety.
