What is the Tamper Alarm on my Philips Wireless Doorbell Spotlight Camera?

    Published on 26 February 2024
Your Philips Wireless Video Doorbell and Philips Wireless Spotlight Camera come equipped with a Tamper Alarm feature. A siren will sound, and a notification will be sent to you if someone, for example, tries to pull it off the wall. Find how to enable/disable the feature in our article below.

To turn the Tamper Alarm on or off, follow these steps:

    1. Go to “Devices”.
    1. Tap on ‘’settings’’ for a specific device.
    1. Tap on Detection
    1. Toggle "Tamper Alarm" on or off.

Dismounting your Camera to charge it, will trigger the Tamper Alarm. Always deactivate the Tamper Alarm when you dismount the device, to avoid the alarm sounding.
