My Philips Rice Cooker undercooks rice/multigrain

    Published on 21 January 2025
If you notice the undercooked rice/multigrain from your Philips Rice Cooker, find the possible causes and solutions below.

    The rice/multigrain is undercooked:

    1. Insufficient water. Use the measuring cup (if provided) to measure the amount of rice.
    2. In advance, please soak grains with hard shells (red beans, black beans, Job's tears, etc.).
    3. Before starting the rice cooker, ensure that there are no foreign objects outside the heating element and inside the cooker.
    4. The heating element is damaged, or the inner pan is deformed. Please bring your rice cooker to Philips Service Center, or contact us for further assistance
