My Philips Air Purifier is too loud

    Published on 10 November 2022
When your Philips Air Purifier is too loud, please read below what the causes are and what to do about it.

The fan speed level is too high

The noise you might hear coming from your Philips Air Purifier is produced by the operation of the motor and the fan.

Your Philips Air Purifier has been designed to minimize this noise, but in some situations (such as when trying to sleep or in a silent room) you may hear it.

If this is the case, please change the fan speed to a lower level or to sleep mode.

Philips Air Purifier gets too loud in Auto mode

When in Auto mode, your Philips Air Purifier uses sensors to detect invisible changes in the air and adjusts the fan speed to restore good air quality as quickly as possible.

To reduce the noise level of the device, you can adjust the fan speed manually or switch to Sleep mode.
