My Philips HomeRun 9000 Series Vacuum and Wash Robot Cleaner does not return to the station

    Published on 21 October 2024

If your Philips HomeRun 9000 Series vacuum and wash robot is not returning to the all-in-one station, find the possible causes and solutions below.

    Xu9000

Your robot vacuum returns to its all-in-one station and starts charging automatically once it has completed its cleaning routine or when the battery is empty. To ensure your robot returns to the all-in-one station:

    • Ensure the robot is not blocked; open all doors on its route and remove any obstacles close to the station.
    • Verify that the station is connected to the wall socket. If it is not, your robot cannot locate the station.
    • Check if you created Virtual Walls, or No-Go, No-Mop, and No-Vac zones too close to the station, or in the robot's way back to the station.
    • Do not place the station in bright sunlight, near staircases or under furniture: this will block the infrared signal that helps the robot find its way back to the station.
    • Install the station in a location with good Wi-Fi coverage.
    • Check that you have allowed sufficient space to the sides and front of the station. An area of 0.5 m on both sides and 1 m in front of the station must be kept free.
    • Place the station on a hard floor, not on soft floors like carpets or rugs.
    • The station must be on a level surface against a wall.
    • Ensure the wheel does not slip. Use a dry cloth to wipe the wheel and clean the water on the tray and ground at the same time.
    • Check if the front caster wheel and main wheels are stuck with foreign objects, such as hairs, sand, etc. Please try to clear the foreign objects on the wheels, pivot the wheels to see if they can rotate normally, and pull out the front wheel to clear the foreign objects.
    • Check if the sensors on robot and/or station are dirty. Clean all the sensors of the robot and the station with dry cloth.
