Your robot is equipped with line lasers+IToF sensors to detect stairs and other floor-level differences so it can avoid them. Dark floors may be mistakenly identified as stairs so your robot will not drive onto them.
To help your robot recognize the dark floor, make sure the room is well lit, by turning on the lights.
