To classify the different types of white light, the term "colour temperature" is applied. This colour temperature is measured in Kelvin (K). The lower the Kelvin number, the warmer the colour temperature (more yellow-red). The higher the number, the cooler the colour temperature (more white-blue). Warm white light is standard for creating a cosy atmosphere at home.

Who said that choosing your LED light colour was not possible? Ledino introduces tunable white in a selection of luminaires. You can choose your preferred light colour from warm white to cool white at installation using a tool that is included in the packaging. There are 4 light colour options to choose from: 2500, 2700, 3100 and 3450 Kelvin.
Once the light colour is installed, most luminaires can be dimmed normally with a wall dimmer (excluded). More information on compatible wall dimmers.
Most Philips Ledino luminaires are dimmable, which means that their light level can be adjusted with a dimmer switch helping you to create the ambiance you want in your home. The dimming indication is always mentioned on the product packaging or on our website. Ledino luminaires can be dimmed by means of an external trailing edge wall dimmer (not included in the product box). For more information about dimming, please follow this link.
