Cleaning the water tank of your 9000 Series Robot
The 9000 Series robot features water tanks both within the robot itself and in the all-in-one station. Please note that these tanks are not dishwasher safe.
Cleaning the water tank in the robot
Note: Do not clean the water tank with any cleaning detergent. Use tap water only.
- Push the release button and remove the cleaning module from the robot. (see image A).
- Remove the dirty water tank of the robot from the cleaning module. (see image B).
- Grab the dirty water tank with both hands, press the circular button on the lid and flip up the lid.
Note: Open the dirty water tank at the sink to avoid dirty water spilling on the floor. (see image C).
- Clean the dirty water tank under the tap with the cleaning tool. (see image D).
- Remove the rolling mop from the cleaning module. (see image E).
- Clean the rolling mop under the tap. (see image F).
- Let both the rolling mop and the dirty water tank dry completely in sunlight or air. Do not reassemble while they are wet. (see image G).
- Insert the rolling mop into the cleaning module until the parts fit into each other. (see image H).
Note: when inserting the rolling mop, make sure to align the raised part on the rolling mop with the matching recess on the cleaning module.
- Insert the dirty water tank into the cleaning module. (see image I).
- Insert the cleaning module back into the robot. (see image J).
Cleaning the water tanks (dirty and clean water tanks) in the all-in-one station
Note: Do not clean the water tank with any cleaning detergent. Use tap water only.
- Open the lid of the station. (see image A).
- Remove both the clean water tank and the dirty water tank from the station. (see image B).
- Open the lid of the clean water tank. (see image C).
- Rinse the clean water tank under the tap. (see image D).
- Pour out any remaining water in the clear water tank. (see image E).
- Refill the clean water tank to the MAX water level indication. (see image F).
- Optional: Add 10 ml of Philips floor cleaner XV1493 in the clean water tank. Note: only use the supplied Philips floor cleaner XV1493, which is specially developed for our devices to ensure optimal performance and to elongate its lifetime. Using alternative cleaning detergents may compromise and potentially damage the machine's interior components. (see image G).
- Open the lid of the dirty water tank. (see image H). Note: when inserting the rolling mop, make sure to align the raised part on the rolling mop with the matching recess on the cleaning module.
- Pour the water out of the dirty water tank into the sink. (see image I).
- Rinse the dirty water tank under the tap. (see image J).
- Clean the dirty water tank with the cleaning brush. (see image K).
- Pour out any remaining water in the dirty water tank. (see image L).
- Dry the outside of the water tanks with a cloth. (see image M).
- Close the lid of the water tanks until you hear a clicking sound. (see image N).
- Insert both water tanks into the station. (see image O).
- Close the lid of the station. (see image P).
