How to remove the valve of a Philips Avent breast pump

The Philips Avent breast pump has a specially designed valve you can easily remove and clean. Find out just how to do so.

Special ribbed tab: The valve is created with a ribbed tab to easily remove it from the pump. If it inadvertently gets stuck, wiggle the valve until it comes loose.
