The ActiveSense sensor of my Philips Steam Iron is not working

    Published on 2021-07-04
If the ActiveSense sensor of your Philips Steam Iron is not responding to the fabric as expected, find the troubleshooting advice below to solve this.

When you iron in a cool environment, steam may condense on the ActiveSense sensor (see the image below) during the first few minutes of steam ironing.

For this period, the ‘iron ready light’ of your Philips Steam Iron might stay blue. In this case, continue ironing until the steam condensation is cleared.

Note: The ActiveSense technology works with artificial intelligence recognizing your fabrics during ironing with built-in camera (including the condition of your fabric), and decides for you the ideal temperature and steam amount automatically.
