The steam comes out of my Philips Steam Iron in resting position

When you leave your Philips Steam Iron in resting position for a period of time, the ActiveSense technology will regulate to ensure that the soleplate is at the right temperature. During this time, you may see some steam being released, and the ‘iron ready light’ will be blinking blue. This is normal. Once you start ironing, the ‘iron ready light’ will change to steady blue or white, depending on the fabric that is being ironed.
