You can follow the recipe below to cook a plain rice porridge and bean milk. Follow the water and ingredients ratio to avoid overflowing.
How to cook plain rice porridge and bean milk in my Philips cooking blender?
Porridge
- Wash rice before cooking.
- Add water to the jar according to water level in the table.
- Add rice according to ratio in the table and close the lid.
- Turn the rotary knob to “Porridge” .
- Adjust the cooking time according to the amount of water and rice you add (to avoid overcook) by pressing +/- button and Press “OK”.
Bean milk
- Use the measuring cup to measure beans according to taste preference and ratio in the table.
- Soak beans for four hours before cooking.
- Add water to the jar according to water level in the table.
- Add the soaked beans and close the lid.
- Turn the rotary knob to “Bean milk” and press“OK”.
Note:
If you see bubbling during cooking, it is normal phenomenon as cooking ingredients with starch, beans or milk would produce a lot of foam. Washing rice beforehand could help to remove excess starch to produce less foam/ bubbles.
